Responsibilities
  • Assist the Martinsburg Shipping/Receiving Lead with the daily execution of administrative freight activities and workflow scheduling.
  • Process and manage work orders: compile required documents for work order travelers, post hours and bill of materials, and close completed work orders.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to work order processing such as compiling, scanning, storing, and retrieving work order traveler documents.
  • Ensure quality and safety records conformance to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
  • Assist with scheduling daily trucks using the freight management system.
  • Conduct receipt inspections and process Returned Goods Authorizations.
  • Become proficient with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform general administrative functions such as typing, filing, faxing, copying and other clerical services as requested.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Plan work activities to meet the organization’s objectives and find new ways to improve personal efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge, education and experience. Minimum of a high‑school diploma.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products:
    Outlook, Word, and Excel.
