Behavioral Health, Contra Costa Health Plan, Emergency Medical Services, Environmental Health, Hazardous Materials, Health, Housing & Homeless Services, Public Health, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center & Health Centers and Detention Health.
The Health Services Information Technology Clinical Systems Analyst II classification is distinguished from other positions within the Health Services Systems Analyst series in that this position requires a clinical degree and/or certification (i.e., RN, RDH, CPhT, MLT, ARRT, etc.). Incumbents are required to be fully trained in all procedures related to their assigned area of responsibility.
The Health Services Information Technology Clinical Systems Analyst II is responsible for the ongoing professional support of Epic and mission‑critical clinical, business and operational applications. This support includes planning, implementing, and organizing activities relating to enterprise‑wide application selection, deployment and optimization and training; other responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing and evaluating system and/or service requests using structured techniques and methodology; managing all or portions of a project from the initial fact‑gathering meeting, through post‑implementation review;
system troubleshooting and issue resolution; developing and maintaining training environments and materials; and providing role‑based education.
