Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
Thrive Support Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Attendant to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on empowerment through helping with daily tasks and fostering independence.
Responsibilities- Support developmentally disabled clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, and light housekeeping
- Assist with medication administration as needed
- Support community outings and activities to promote independence
- At least one (1) year of experience as a caregiver or in-home aide, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities
- High level of accountability and dependability
- Ability to provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, changing etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid California Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must pass DOJ fingerprinting/criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification and TB test results
- Valid auto insurance with $100,000-$300,000 bodily injury liability
- Full-Time (30+ hours per week)
