The Coordinator for Student Involvement is charged with improving student life by working with various departments within the university to create an environment that fosters and promotes student learning and development. This is an integral position in the department that is responsible for providing oversight for all aspects of the Student Involvement Program. The Coordinator for Student Involvement interacts daily with 150+ Student Organizations, their 2000+ members, and alumni.
The Center for Student Engagement is home to approximately 150 Recognized Student Organizations and 18 national/international fraternities and sororities. Student Involvement provides service opportunities, leadership training, and student engagement opportunities to all students, and coordinates or plays a role in several university events including Welcome Weekend, Homecoming, Family Weekend, Greekfest, I Heart UTM Week, and more.
