OpportunityCome join our dedicated landscape team, where you’ll help nurture, preserve, and enhance the unique beauty and charm of our world-class resort.
Responsibilities- Perform daily landscape construction tasks such as hard‑scape installation (pavers, retaining walls, edging), grading, soil preparation, planting, sod installation, and site cleanup to deliver high‑quality finished spaces.
- Safely operate construction equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, compactors, saws, and utility vehicles to support efficient project completion.
- Maintain and operate equipment necessary to perform above tasks, which may include but is not limited to leaf blowers, hand tools, string trimmers, chainsaws, skid steers, tractors, pickup trucks, and golf carts.
- Assist with basic low‑voltage lighting and irrigation installation support as needed, such as trenching, placing pipe, or helping with minor adjustments under supervision.
- Support arborist operations, including assisting with tree planting, staking, mulching, structural pruning support, debris handling, and safe work‑zone setup.
- Execute landscape enhancement projects, including bed construction, tree and shrub installation, and seasonal landscape features that align with Kohler’s design intent.
- Provide guidance and daily direction to seasonal or project‑based staff to ensure safe practices, efficient workflow, and positive guest interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support year‑round landscape operations, including winter snow and ice management.
Full‑time opportunities available. Hours are 6:30 am‑3:30 pm weekdays, and may include the occasional weekend.
Skills / Requirements- At least one year of experience in landscape construction, hard‑scape installation, grounds construction, or related outdoor installation work.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including periodic weekends, seasonal project demands, and winter snow removal availability.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Construction, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, compactors, and saws.
- Possession of the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Experience with hard‑scape installation, grading, planting, turf installation, or seasonal landscape construction.
- Familiarity with basic low‑voltage installation and repair.
- Familiarity with basic irrigation installation or repair.
- Experience assisting with arborist work or tree‑care operations.

Compensation & BenefitsThe hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 – $27.55. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, and work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
