The Security Officer II is an active member in the Security Team as well as the internal First Responder Team. This individual provides a wide variety of safety and security activities and services. The Security Officer II maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum
Required:
High school or equivalent.
Preferred/Optional: Post high school education with emphasis on security or law enforcement. Associate Degree in Protective Services.
EXPERIENCEMinimum
Required:
Five years’ prior security officer experience or safety related background.
Preferred/Optional: None
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid certification, awarded by the American Heart Association. Non-violent Crisis Intervention trained. Wisconsin Concealed Carry permit.
