PCU RN – 5N (Neuro-Focused Unit)
• Certs: BLS, NIHSS
• Beds: 28
• Ratios:
Days 1:4–5 | Nights 1:5–6 (acuity based)

Experience:

2 years MS/PCU/ICU required (within last 1 year); must have drip experience
• Patient Population:
Neuro (stroke, seizures, GB, MG, spinal injuries, post-TPA/TNK, thrombectomies, AMS, dementia) + trauma/ortho injuries
• Drips:
Heparin, Nitro, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, 3%, Insulin (titration required)
• Trachs/Vents:
Experience preferred; willing to train if open to learning

Schedule:

12s (7–7:30), self-scheduling | Every other Fri/Sat/Sun
• Floating:
Yes – sister MS units
• Orientation: 1 general shift + 1 precepted shift
• Local Rate:
Within 80 miles = $8/hr rate reduction
• Notes:
Open to first-time travelers; must disclose prior Marshfield employment (6+ months since end date)
