Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,726 per week

Required:

ACLS, BLS
* Must have strong overall OR experience.
Exp with ortho, ie; total joints, scopes, fractures, podiatry would be preferred.
- # Suites: 10 plus 2 procedure rooms.
- Average # of cases per day: 40-50.
- Common Cases:
Ortho, GGU, ENT, Ophthalmology.
- Scrubbing required - RN's:
No, but it is helpful.
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: 2 RNs are hired for this and share the role rotating between staffing and running the board.
- Shifts & Scheduling:
We have modified self scheduling for our staff, pick preferred late days, preferred day off if under 1.0 FTE.
Scheduled late shifts on average x2/week.
- Weeknight/Call Requirements:
None.
- Weekend/Call Requirements:
None.
- Holiday/Call Requirements:
None.
- Floating Requirements:
We do share staff with the Inpatient OR on campus as needed
- Scrub Color/Dress Code:
We provide scrubs
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 3- 5 days - try to keep it as close to 3 days as we can.
