Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Candidates living within 80 miles – rate reduced by $8/hr

Ratios:
Days 1:4–5 | Nights 1:5–6 (acuity based)
Patient Population:
Neuro-focused unit: stroke, seizures, Guillain-Barré, myasthenia gravis, spinal injuries, thrombectomies, TNK/TPA (24 hrs post), AMS, dementia. Also trauma/ortho cases including bleeds, hematomas, falls on anticoagulants, farm & MVA injuries.
Experience
Required:
Minimum 2 years MS/PCU/ICU (within last 1 year)
Must have drip experience
Home trach/vent experience highly preferred (willing to train if open to learning)
Open to first-time travelers
Drips (Titrated):
Heparin, Nitro, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, 3% Saline, Insulin
Staffing & Support:
Charge RN every shift (days take smaller assignment; nights full assignment)
CNAs:
Days 1:9 | Nights 1:12
RT support: vents, trachs, CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, ETCO₂
Central tele monitoring (off-unit)
Scheduling:
12-hr shifts: 7a–7:30p / 7p–7:30a
Self-scheduling (opens 6 weeks out; manager balances)
Weekends:
Every other Fri/Sat/Sun
Holidays:
Typically 2 of 3 winter holidays, otherwise alternating
No call
Floating:
Yes – to sister MS units (mixed care, cardiac, general MS, ortho, heme/onc)
Orientation:
1 general shift + 1 precepted shift
Scrubs:
Any solid color
Important Notes:
Must disclose prior work history with Marshfield (6-month gap required)
All clinicians must clock in/out at the facility
