Join our Marshfield, WI facility as a Precision Saw & Material Handling Technician. You’ll be the linchpin of our cut-to-size workflow—running production saws, interpreting drawings, and moving material safely and efficiently. If working with your hands, tools, and measurements is where you shine, this is your place.
A Day in the LifeYou arrive, review the day’s cut list, and confirm specifications. You set up the appropriate saw, verify measurements, and produce accurate parts—every time. Between cuts, you receive inbound orders from vendor drivers, assist customers with will-call pickups, keep your work area clean and safe, and operate a forklift to stage heavy materials. When needed, you support roadwork/installation at customer sites and participate in required onsite meetings.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Operate multiple types of industrial saws to cut a variety of materials to specification
- Use and interpret measuring equipment with accuracy; verify specs before and after cutting
- Read and interpret drawings to plan cuts and ensure correct outputs
- Coordinate with vendor drivers to receive inbound orders
- Deliver consistent, in-tolerance parts with reliable output
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist customers picking up orders (will-call)
- Safely operate a forklift and handle heavy materials
- Use hand tools safely and effectively
- Support roadwork/installation at customer sites as directed by management
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management
- Attend required meetings at the specified location
- Professionalism reflected in maturity, dependability, and a positive attitude
- Strong people skills: communicate clearly and listen actively
- Exceptional attention to detail and solid organizational habits
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively
- Self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously
