Under direction of a Radiologist, the Mammography Technologist performs various mammographic and/or molecular breast imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. All procedures must meet the diagnostic quality standards established by the supervising Radiologist.

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2‑year) school.

Experience

• None required.
• Previous mammography experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

• Must be ARRT certified in Radiology.
• Must obtain Mammography certification within one year of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Employee must not be excluded from participation in any federally funded program. Employees must notify management if threatened with exclusion.
