** WORK SHIFT**## 5, 8 hour day shifts
-or- 4, 10 hour day shifts per week. Includes call rotation.

Candidates without prior cath lab experience can start in a Trainee role for on-the-job training!# # # #
** CIRV Technologist**#
** JOB SUMMARY
** The CIRV Technologist Cath Lab assists the Physician in performing a variety of specialized procedures (Cardiology, Interventional Radiology/Vascular, and Neurovascular) in the role(s) of radiology technologist, scrub, and/or hemodynamic monitoring. The CIRV Technologist Cath Lab demonstrates proficiency in the use of a variety of minor and computer related equipment. Additional expectations include, but are not limited to, room setup, patient positioning, and patient screening.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* ** For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
*** Minimum

Required:

** High school diploma or equivalent.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Associate degree in related field.
** EXPERIENCE
* *** Minimum

Required:

** Must have sufficient training and knowledge in CIRV or direct patient care experience in a healthcare related field, to be able to take call for the department upon completion of orientation.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Experience as a Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or Interventional Radiology environment.
** CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
*** The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
*** Minimum

Required:

** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association.  Registered Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.#
