Position: Mechanical Engineer - 250857

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the full lifecycle of system and equipment design — from stakeholder design reviews through vendor coordination, testing, and field installation. This role partners closely with Procurement, Construction, and equipment vendors to ensure successful factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), on-time delivery, and seamless field execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple projects while supporting emerging technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder reviews of system design packages to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to support vendor design and fabrication contracts.
  • Partner with equipment vendors to execute factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs), ensuring auxiliary equipment is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct owner’s acceptance reviews of vendor-supplied design documentation.
  • Develop and review test plans for both factory and site acceptance testing.
  • Work closely with the Construction team to address field inquiries and resolve on-site issues.
  • Perform field walk-downs to verify proper installation and functionality of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and support emerging technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of completion.
  • Capable of handling small-scale project management responsibilities, including schedule tracking, deadline accountability, and resource planning.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
