Job Overview
We are seeking four Network Engineers to support a large‑scale network integration initiative across multiple healthcare facilities. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on one of the largest rural health systems in the U.S. As a Network Engineer you will support enterprise‑level network environments, working hands‑on with routing, switching, wireless networks, access point configuration, and SAN zoning activities.
The role involves working across hundreds of network closets and touching nearly every switch in the environment. Some fiber optics and cabling work may also be required.
Location:
Hybrid, primarily onsite at facilities in Wisconsin. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of one of the following locations:
Marshfield, Eau Claire, Wausau, Rice Lake, Minocqua, Ladysmith, Park Falls, or Stevens Point.
- Support and maintain enterprise routing and switching environments
- Configure and troubleshoot wireless networks and access points
- Work across SAN zones and various network segments
- Assist with large‑scale network integration and hardware refresh projects
- Participate in project installations, maintenance, and network administration activities
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable and secure technology delivery
- Intermediate‑level network engineering background
- Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching
- Wireless configuration and access point support
- Experience with Cisco or Aruba platforms (willingness to learn is acceptable)
- SAN experience
- Fiber/cabling exposure
- Healthcare or large enterprise network experience
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST - Location:
Hybrid, primarily onsite at Wisconsin facilities - Team Culture:

You’ll be contributing directly to a major network integration effort that supports millions of patients and providers. Your work will bolster the infrastructure that powers critical healthcare operations across a large rural system—ensuring strong, secure, and reliable connectivity during a large‑scale merger.
Compensation & BenefitsPay range: $32.00 - $50.00/hr.
