Locums Urology Clinic + Call Marshfield, WIWhy This Role

• High-volume, well-supported urology practice with a balanced mix of clinic, hospital, and procedural work
• Ongoing need with consistent scheduling of approximately two weeks per month
• Opportunity to practice full-scope urology, including robotic surgery, in a collaborative setting
Assignment Details
• Start ASAP with ongoing coverage needs
• Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Clinic and call coverage approximately two weeks per month
• Clinic hours generally 8am-5pm, with earlier starts on surgical days as needed
• Call is beeper-based with a 15-minute response time and an expected ratio of 1:2 or 1:3
• Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and procedural responsibilities
• Rounding on assigned and unassigned patients is required

Clinical Details
• Patient volume averages 16-20 patients per shift
• Case mix includes approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital, and 30% procedures/surgeries
• Typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement and removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, and bladder instillation
• Equipment available includes X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner, and TRUS
• Provider must be comfortable treating occasional pediatric urology cases, including testicular torsion presenting through the ER
• Support includes nursing, medical assistants, and multiple advanced practice providers
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible in Urology
• No specific state license requirement
• BLS required
• Ability to manage general urology with adult patients and limited pediatric exposure
• Experience with laparoscopic and robotic surgery is required
• Comfort with call responsibilities and inpatient care
