The Iowa Veterans Home is a long‑term care facility located in Marshalltown, Iowa, with the mission of providing exceptional resident‑centered care and the highest quality of life to Iowa’s Veterans and spouses.

We have openings for full‑time Certified Nursing Aides with the following shift options:

• 3‑day work week; 14 hours either 6 a.m.–8:30 p.m. or 3:45 p.m.–6:15 a.m.; working 1 out of 4 weekends
• 8‑hour evening shift (2 p.m.–10:30 p.m.); working every other weekend
• 10‑hour night shift (8:15 p.m.–6:15 a.m.) working every other weekend
• Weekend package shift options available with retention payments up to $5,000 paid out over 26 pay periods. Lodging and meals available upon request.

• Perform basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet resident care needs.
• Complete documentation and sign off in resident charts and care plans.
• Certified Med Aides will pass medications as indicated on the MAR.

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• No specific education or experience is required.
