General DescriptionThis position performs sanitation labor by performing eight steps of sanitation while understanding and complying with all food safety and safety policies and procedures. The CIP injector must understand how to work with necessary chemicals, produce a clean plant on schedule, and abide by company policies, including satisfactory attendance.
Responsibilities- Work cooperatively with leads and Management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
- Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers.
- Wear employer-specified PPE such as gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, and safety glasses.
- Work with chemicals with required PPE.
- Stand, lift, and crouch continuously during the night shift.
- Perform all tasks safely.
- Use Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be independent and work well with others.
- Be able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
- Good mathematical and organizational skills.
- Require leadership skills, decision making, safety awareness, and conflict resolution.
- Require attributes of integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus.
- Require food safety awareness, attention to detail, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1 year experience in sanitation/food processing industry.
