Quality Control Technician; 3rd Shift

Job Description

• Responsible to the QC Manager or their designee.
• Complies with QA manuals while supporting operations goals.
• Collaborates across departments to resolve nonconformances promptly.
• Interprets process documentation to determine product attributes for inspection or audit.
• Performs inspection duties within Quality as designated.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Utilizes equipment and skills to troubleshoot product and process problems.
• Supports manufacturing processes by performing all necessary quality-driven activities.
• Exhibits solid multitasking abilities during daily activities.
• Other tasks as directed or required to maintain efficient operation.

Produce products in accordance with Fisher Quality Standards and continuously improve operations to satisfy customers.

• Read and comprehend procedures and processing documentation.
• Write legibly on documentation.
• Perform average calculations and interpret part drawings.
• Vision: 20/22 or better, able to read minimum Jaeger 1 letters at 12 inches.

• Knowledge of measurement techniques and Geometrically Dimensioned Drawings (GD&T).
• Experience performing inspection methods.
• Solid MS Office and Outlook skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
