Marshalltown Hospital Emergency Medical Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team. Our 16-bed ER features 10 standard treatment rooms, two trauma-specific rooms, and a triage room, as well as four observation rooms dedicated to behavioral health patients.

As a Level IV trauma center, our ER team is specially trained to respond rapidly to any healthcare emergency. In this role, you will be at the forefront of critical care, handling a variety of urgent medical situations with expertise and calmness. • Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care.

• Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research.

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
• Multicultural sensitivity.
• Microsoft Office – basic computer skills.
• Customer/patient focused.
• Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• One (1) year of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP, and CPI preferred and required within one year of hire
