The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for short-term Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team working full time hours on evening or night shift for a minimum of 15 weeks or up to 780 hours.

Hours are 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. or 8:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. Work one out of three weekends. This position is not eligible for benefits. The candidate may apply for a permanent position at the end of the 15 weeks if interested.

Rate of pay is $38.56 per hour for employees working a minimum of 80 hours per pay period for 15 weeks. Employees working less than 80 hours per pay period will have an hourly wage of $25.38–$38.56.

• Wage of $38.56 based on 80+ hours per pay period for 15 weeks.
• Hourly wage $25.38–$38.56 for fewer than 80 hours.
