2026 SUMMER INTERN OPPORTUNITY with our Engineering Department:

This position is for seasonal/summer help for an engineering technician aid. Work is anticipated to consist of helping the Engineering staff with a variety of project duties including but not limited to material sampling & testing, quantity measurements, surveying, erosion control review, and record keeping. Projects we aid in inspection duties include street, driveway, and, sidewalk construction; utility rehabilitation or installation;

and general excavation / right-of-way permitting. Must be 18 years or older, be able to lift 50 pounds and have a valid Iowa Drivers License. Position typically runs for up to 13 weeks from June through August. Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, some overtime and weekends may be available but not required.
