Traffic Marshall
We are searching for a Traffic Marshall to be a part of our Construction team and help us with smooth movement of onsite vehicles. You should be able to assist with the clearing of the work site and divert traffic. Besides, you should be able to communicate safety briefings to the vehicle drivers and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
You should also be able to check and maintain the onsite security and surveillance. Moreover, you should maintain a visitor’s logbook. You should also ensure the safety of the Construction Workers during the movement of heavy machinery like cranes and forklift.
As a Traffic Marshall, you should have the ability to stand for long hours. Furthermore, you should have excellent vision and a detail-oriented approach. You should also be able to address ad-hoc requests in a timely manner. In addition to this, you should display strong leadership qualities. Your ability to work independently as well as collaboratively will also be considered.

Responsibilities- Maintaining the onsite security and surveillance
- Recording and updating day-to-day deliveries
- Filling and maintaining the visitor logbook
- Providing safety briefings and PPE kit to the visitors
- Coordinating with the Construction Workers and Heavy Equipment Operators and ensuring they follow the safety protocols
- Ensuring safe movements of heavy machinery like cranes and forklifts and other on-site activities
- Diverting traffic when deliveries enter the site Addressing ad hoc requests
- Assisting in clearing the work site Providing directions to the vehicle driver to move smoothly around the construction site
- High school diploma or GED
- Holding a valid Marshall ticket
- Proven work experience in the Construction industry as a Traffic Marshall or a similar role
- Complete knowledge of the industry guidelines, safety and health protocols
- Familiarity with traffic flow and signs
- Displaying excellent physical dexterity
- Ability to work for long hours and in extreme weather conditions
- Having a sharp vision
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player and ability to work independently
