DCS is seeking a Maintenance Technician supports the reliability, safety, and readiness of company assets through hands-on maintenance, inspection, and repair activities across facilities and field locations. This role works closely with the Maintenance Coordinator, Mechanics, Field personnel, and Engineers to ensure assets meet operational, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with field personnel, mechanics, and engineers
- Ability to follow established procedures, document work accurately, and communicate issues clearly
- Support asset standardization initiatives and perform RM repairs primarily at the 110 Carlile Circle facility, with additional work performed in the field or at other facilities as required
- Assist the Maintenance Coordinator with repairs and corrective action identified during FMCSA inspections, basic inspections, and operation audits
- Perform routine asset maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Fluid checks and fluid changes on compressors, generators, and pumps
- Hose inspection, repair, and replacement
- Brake and suspension maintenance for tractors and trailers
- Decal replacement and basic parts or fitting replacement
- Basic welding and fabrication
- Pump repair or replacement
- Basic lights and electrical maintenance for trucks and trailers
- Asset upgrade & readiness, including but not limited to:
- Complete asset upgrades as directed by the engineering group
- Clean, function-test, and prepare assets for deployment to the field
- Communicate identified asset issues clearly and log all maintenance activities accurately
- Inspection & Audits, including but not limited to:
- Conduct basic inspections following guidance from the Field Asset Coordinator
- Assets may be routed to the repair facility for additional work based on inspection findings
- Support repairs for assets located in West Texas (WTX) and South Texas (STX), which may remain in-basin for local repair depending on issue severity and team availability
- Inspect and/or repair assets sent to the repair facility
- Collaboration on Major Repairs, including but not limited to:
- Assist the mechanic team with major repairs as skill level and workload allow, while mechanics maintain primary responsibility
- Welding and fabrication
- Full brake system repair or replacement
- Major suspension repairs
- Pump repair or replacement
- Diesel engine overhauls and rebuilds
- Operational & Annual Audits, including but not limited to:
- Participate annually in in-depth repairs for designated asset classes
- Ensure assets are routed to the repair facility with a defined repair scope following audit results
- Capture and submit required post-repair photos for picture auditing
- Record all maintenance and repair activity in nSight
- Inventory Management, including but not limited to:
- Routinely audit mechanics and maintenance storage areas and parts inventory
- Verify inventory accuracy in nSight and report discrepancies or low stock levels to the appropriate purchaser
- 0-1 years' experience working on trucks/trailers
- 0-1 years' experience in mechanics/maintenance shops
- 0-1 years’ experience of welding/ fabrication shop or similar
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Shop Safety Awareness
