Missouri Valley College has an opening for an energetic and creative leader to serve as the next Director of Admissions.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years' experience in a college admissions office in a leadership role and must have a record of successful outcomes in the development and achievement of enrollment goals. Other requirements include:

* Experience in hiring, supervising, and management decisions, and team development in an admissions office

* Strong written and verbal communications are required, and the candidates must have evidence of their ability to work successfully with college and university administrators and high school personnel.

* The ability to understand complex student information systems and to use those systems in a management capacity, as well as budget management skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data.

* The ability to perform work in a CRM platform,

* Night and evening work may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis.

* A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's is preferred.

Responsibilities

* Leading and managing the recruitment effort in the Office of Admissions, handling high school/community relations, overseeing the campus visit program, and general office operations, demonstrating effective supervisory principles, practices and techniques, as well as motivation and performance evaluation.

* Collaborating with campus leaders in the design and development of a strategic enrollment plan to support the college's goals

* Direct and implement undergraduate admissions policy, supervise the application process, scholarship management, and leveraging of CRM strategies

* Train staff and coaches on the use of EMP, and generate regular department reports from Ellucian Colleague, as well as develop and maintain automated communications workflows that guide prospective students through the admissions process, keeping engagement as a top priority.

* Managing and maintaining institutional data reporting, data analysis, and data security.

* Collaborating with marketing to evaluate traditional and digital marketing efforts and social media outreach to expand the presence of MVC; and ensure that the college website accurately reflects admissions requirements and processes.

* Partnering with advising personnel to facilitate the efficient and timely process to move accepted and returning students through the registration process

* Establishing and maintaining collaborative and effective working relationships with a diverse group of leaders across campus and with peers at other institutions

* Promoting and engaging staff with professional development opportunities

* Assisting with transfer credit and prior learning documentation

* Leading orientation and registration events

* Working closely with student organizations to provide data for incoming students

* Providing assistance to Institutional Reporting personnel on IPEDs and various annual athletic department federal reports
