Northwest Community Services is recruiting for an Administrative Support Assistant for Personnel, domiciled in Marshall or Higginsville, to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 500 employees and makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
NWCS is a state‑operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 100+ individuals receiving 24/7 residential services in their own homes across four counties.
The Administrative Support Assistant – FMLA/Work Comp Coordinator should have some experience with FMLA and workers' compensation. They also need to be detail‑oriented, work well with others, have good time‑management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs, possess skill in operating office equipment, and be willing to travel across the agency.
Qualifications- 1-3 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
- Scheduled to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off.
- Coordinate and track requests for FMLA and approvals for FMLA.
- Serve as the contact and coordinator for workers' compensation, including documentation, data entry, and scheduling doctor’s appointments.
