POSITION AVAILABLE:
School Social Worker or School Counselor

POSITION LOCATION:

Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC), with placement at the ELC Marshall in Marshall, MN.

MAJOR

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

School Social Worker - works with families and/or children that have emotional, social, personal or family issues that are interfering with achievement or personal well-being.

School Counselor - responsible for individual student counseling and group guidance functions by encouraging students to obtain the optimum in educational, vocational, and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

School Social Worker - Bachelor's degree required. MN licensure as School Social Worker from Department of Education and MN Board of Social Work. Must have good organizational skills and ability to interact with multiple agencies.

School Counselor - Master's Degree required. Must be eligible for or hold MN licensure as School Counselor from Department of Education.

SALARY/

CONTRACT:

185-day contract for the  school year to begin on August 4, 2026. Bachelor's salary ranges from $54,477 to $74,870. Master's salary ranges from $64,965 - $96,796. All dependent on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience. This role includes benefits.
