Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position at TouchPoint, 200 North Madison Street, Marshall, MI 49068. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full-time, Thursday through Monday, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm. Further details provided during interview. Previous cook experience is required. Pay range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour. Perks include shift differential for nights and weekends.

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature, attractive presentation, and consistent taste. Taste all prepared items.
• Maintain kitchen organization: clean after preparation, store or discard excess food per safe handling procedures, and keep refrigerators and storerooms orderly.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment; assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
• Assist in ordering and receiving of food and supplies; report maintenance needs or accidents to the supervisor promptly. Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers; perform duties safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with safety practices in handling knives, gloves, oven mitts, and protective footwear; use proper lifting techniques as required.
