The Parts Manager will direct, coordinate, and supervise outside sales, shipping and receiving, selling, and distributing parts to customers at required levels of profitability.

• High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior parts experience required
• Valid and insurable driving record
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, problem solving, high level of organization
• PC proficiency, data entry skills, moderate math skills including, but not limited to: basic algebra, geometry, and advanced reasoning abilities
• Ability to operate computer and telephone system

• Forecast department goals and develop plans to meet goals in conjunction with the Parts Manager
• Set and enforce special part ordering policies
• Set pricing policies
• Establish pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty
• Hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all parts department staff
