The Delivery Driver role is foundational to our success, delivering meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customers’ drop‑off sites.
Responsibilities- Deliver best‑in‑class customer service throughout the day.
- Deliver customers’ orders on schedule and maintain productivity.
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in customers’ storage areas.
- Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
- Make frequent stops during a work shift.
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
- Verify delivery of items with customers.
- Collect money (cash or checks) where required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid CDL A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualification.
- Minimum six months of commercial truck driving experience or three months of food‑service or food and beverage truck delivery experience.
- Knowledge of FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
The starting pay is $25.65 per hour during a 90‑day training period, after which the driver will receive component pay. Each new driver enters the component pay program following a minimum two‑week training period. Compensation varies by experience and location, with a base rate between $25.65 and $41.00 per hour.
