• Responsible for assisting the Activities Director with organizing, coordinating, marketing and advertising monthly community events.
• Contributing to the facility efforts to maintain and/or improve quality of care for each resident through participation in daily activities.
• Responsible for establishing, developing and carrying out age-related, functional impairment based, and dementia appropriate unique group based and individualized activities.
• Fostering family and community support of the activity program.
• Encouraging resident participation in each daily activity.
• Creatively preparing a monthly themed activity calendar for the residents.
• Budgeting of monthly activity expenses.
• Ongoing development and implementation of an activity program designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of each resident.
