7 On / 7 Off Schedule | Inpatient Only | Robust Support

Join a well-established neurohospitalist program in New Orleans dedicated to high-quality inpatient neurological care. This role offers a predictable block schedule, strong multidisciplinary collaboration, and the resources of a mature neurology service line. It is well-suited for physicians seeking focused inpatient practice, reliable support, and a rewarding lifestyle in one of the country's most dynamic cities.

Practice Overview
  • Inpatient-only neurohospitalist role with no clinic responsibilities
  • Average census of 12 to 15 patients per day
  • Established neurology group with neurosurgery, interventional neurology, neuro-oncology, and pain services
  • Experienced clinical and administrative support staff
  • EMR:
    Epic
Schedule & Coverage
  • 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule
  • Predictable inpatient workflow with defined handoffs
  • Designed to support long-term sustainability and work-life balance
Compensation & Benefits
  • Guaranteed base salary with additional RVU-based production
  • Negotiable sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  • PSLF-eligible student loan forgiveness

  • CME allowance up to $5,000, plus covered licensure and DEA fees
Candidate Profile
  • Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Neurology
  • Open to new graduates and experienced neurologists
