Core Responsibilities
The primary objective of this position is to manage and grow a defined sales territory with complete ownership of revenue and margin results. This involves calling on electrical distributors and partner agencies to drive incremental growth and developing opportunities for whole‑building projects in both new construction and renovation sectors. The Sales Executive operates autonomously in the field to identify leads, advance the sales pipeline, and close business across the public and private sectors.
Success in this role requires the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, from executive decision‑makers to on‑site personnel, while positioning value‑driven lighting solutions that satisfy complex project requirements.
Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and possess three to five years of proven B2B sales experience. A background in the lighting or electrical industry is strongly preferred for this role. Applicants must demonstrate a track record of prospecting and managing a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools like Salesforce and the Microsoft Office suite.
This remote, field‑based role requires a self‑motivated professional who can gather actionable market intelligence and collaborate cross‑functionally while maintaining high levels of field autonomy within the Western Michigan territory.
