More About Our Team54‑bed acute Medical and Surgical unit (3 wings with 18 beds each). Good support from care aides enhances patient care. The unit is fast‑paced with admissions and discharges happening throughout the shift.
How You Will Contribute- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care provided.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient/family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
Additional Requirements- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP)
- Two (2) years nursing experience.
- Seven (7) years managerial experience (preferred).
