More About Our TeamThe staffing pool provides RN coverage to our med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab, and cardiac units. Staffing pool nurses adapt to change and accommodate many different working environments. After one year, nurses can train to specialty units such as ICU and the ED. One year nursing experience preferred.
How You Will Contribute- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care given.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate patient/family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Applicants should have a Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s degree preferred).
