The CNC Operator – All Levels represents an entry‑level position through an advanced level. The CNC Operator will continue to develop technical skills in their assigned areas, further their growth as team contributors, and begin using their experience and technical abilities to demonstrate leadership characteristics.

The position requires hands‑on experience and growing proficiency of EXALTA's most complicated processes. This position is critical in helping EXALTA maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.

Mon–Thurs | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

As a CNC Operator, you’ll help manufacture precision components used in advanced medical technology.

• Producing parts following engineering specifications
• Setting up fixtures, tools, and materials
• Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Performing routine machine maintenance
• Maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment
• Collaborating with teammates to improve processes and quality

• Operates a limited number of machines
• Performs basic inspections
• Learn machining processes and quality standards

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in or completion of the NMU CNC Certification program or 1 year of equivalent work experience preferred

Build your technical skills and expand machine expertise.

• Performs basic set‑ups
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Verify machining efficiency and part quality
• Assist in training and team support

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in or completion of the NMU CNC Certification program or 2‑5 years of equivalent work experience preferred

Set the example and help lead others on the manufacturing floor.

• Perform increasingly complex setups
• Assist in training and mentoring teammates

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of CNC Machining or equivalent experience preferred

This position requires the use of personal protective equipment during various tasks/activities including but not limited to scrubs, gloves, masks, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
