Overview
Marquette General Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Echocardiography Technologist to join its Cardiology Department. This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.

• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images.

• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support accurate diagnoses.

• Document findings and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Ensure proper care, calibration, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

• Adhere to infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.

• Active state licensure in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain).

• Minimum of 2 years recent echocardiography experience preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of echocardiography systems and protocols.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
