- 2 year ARRT accredited program in radiologic technology
- Preferred Education:
Specials registry - Preferred Experience:
Prior knowledge and experience of radiology specials, procedure, physiology, and human anatomy - Required Registration: ARRT registry (updated)
- Certified in CPR
- Other
Skills:
Basic computer knowledge - Radiologic and CT/spec. terminology
- Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients
- Prolonged extensive or considerable standing/walking
- Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards
- May be exposed to infections, contagious and blood borne diseases
- Exposed to processing chemicals
- Handles emergency or crisis situations
- Occasional exposure to unpleasant patient elements
