Performs radiographic, invasive diagnostic, and interventional department procedures.

Reports to:

Manager. FLSA:
Non‑exempt.

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. Enter new data as needed.
• Monitors heart rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Reports any changes to the appropriate person.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Administers medications to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Paramedicine, Licensed Practical Nurse, or equivalent).
• 1 year related experience (preferred).

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP).
• Licensure or Certification in degree field within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year hire/transfer).
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 18 months of hire (for non‑Radiologic Technology and Licensed Practical Nursing).
