SEN Teaching Assistant – Barry – Start After Easter
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Barry
, starting after the Easter holidays
.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.
The Role:- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Supporting children with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, or learning difficulties
- Assisting the class teacher with adapting learning activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Helping pupils develop both academically and socially
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
- Experience supporting SEN pupils is highly beneficial
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
