Clinical Details

  Outpatient and Inpatient

• Trauma Level: 2
• Patients Per Shift: Up to 12 for procedures, less inpatient
• Procedures:
  Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, Diagnostic and Therapeutic procedures, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic ultrasound, pH studies, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement
• EUS preferred
• Resident or Teaching Supervision Required

  • Phone Consults: 2 to 4
• Will not have a scribe for this assignment and will be responsible for all charting and work completion without an assistant joining them throughout the day
• Provider is required to review all of their pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow up recommendations
• 4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites
• Olympus, Hydrogen breath testing, Capsule endoscopy, Propofol

  ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS
• ERCP
