Work Schedule: Flexible hours, late afternoon availability required
Location: Willingboro & Burlington group homes, Marlton, New Jersey
Hours: 24 hours a week
Compensation: $27 per hour
OverviewNow is the ideal time to grow your career with Merakey’s dedicated team. We are seeking a Behavior Support Professional to provide evidence‑based support in group homes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) for presenting issues such as aggression, self‑injurious behavior, mental health symptoms, and law‑offending behaviors.
- Collaborate with the person, family, and multidisciplinary team to develop and maintain individualized behavior support plans (BSP).
- Train and mentor direct support staff on the implementation of BSPs.
- Document data collection, progress reporting, and BSP revision per policy.
- Provide external consultation for assessments when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Preferred NADD or NADSP certification.
- Minimum two years of experience working with adults with IDD and co‑occurring mental health concerns.
- Experience developing, implementing, or supporting behavior support plans under clinical supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challenges and effective verbal communication skills.
- Proven competency in writing support plans and training others.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary setting with physicians, nurses, and direct staff.
