Starting Hourly Rate: $17.25 USD per hour. Pay Range: $17.25 USD – $25.90 USD per hour.

All about General Merchandise:
Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing for General Merchandise areas, conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise setup and maintenance, and supports pick, pack and ship fulfillment.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs and resolve questions on the spot.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit to Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and set up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment for moving merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute price changes, merchandise setup, maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking and packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while adhering to applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Resilience to varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
