Position Summary
One to One Observer – Full Time 7p-7a at Virtua Health. The purpose of the role is to provide personal constant observation of a patient, communicate and support the healthcare team, patients, and their family or significant other(s), and maintain high standards of professional ethics.
Position Responsibilities- Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient, ensuring a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm setting.
- Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
- Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN, responding appropriately.
- Assists in orientation of the healthcare team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.
