Role overview
We're looking for a commercially driven, process-oriented and customer-centric Leasing Sales Manager to lead sales at Citygate Leasing, a new, fast-growing and exciting business within the Citygate Group. The role will have full responsibility for all leasing sales activity, including managing and developing the team of Leasing Executives while also handling their own portfolio of leasing customers.
Responsibility overviewThis is a managerial role within the business, accountable for sales performance, customer experience, team development and the smooth execution of the end-to-end leasing journey. The Leasing Sales Manager will act as the senior customer-facing representative for the business and will play a key role in shaping processes, ways of working and commercial strategy as the business scales.
As a managerial role, this role will offer significant opportunity to grow alongside the growing business and be involved in wider areas including marketing, commercial operations, partner relationships and business growth initiatives. We're looking for a proactive, hands-on leader with strong sales capability, excellent organisational skills and a positive, entrepreneurial mindset who wants to grow alongside an ambitious company.
Key responsibilities- Lead, manage and motivate the Leasing Executive team to achieve individual and team sales targets
- Personally facilitate leasing sales, acting as a first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email and live chat
- Own and manage the customer's end-to-end journey from initial inquiry through to vehicle delivery, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience
- Monitor, manage and improve sales processes, order processing and administration across the team
- Provide coaching, support and performance management to Leasing Executives, including training on products, systems and customer engagement
- Address escalated customer inquiries, concerns and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations
- Oversee and manage the order process, including liaison with dealer groups and funding partners to procure vehicles efficiently
- Ensure accurate management of customer records, pipeline and orders within the in-house CRM system
- Work closely with marketing, dealerships and funding partners to develop and refine product offerings, promotions and sales initiatives
- Produce sales reporting and insights to support forecasting, performance tracking and business decision-making

The successful candidate for this new Leasing Sales Manager position will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience with in a car leasing brokerage is preferred, though not essential.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing sales role is required, including direct customer interaction, managing sales processes through a CRM system and achieving sales targets.
- Prior experience in a sales leadership or management role is highly desirable.
- A proven ability to manage people, drive performance and operate in a fast-growth environment is key.
