Service Technician

With the variety of working from both the workshop and out in the field, this role offers:

• Challenge and exposure: Maintain and service a range of machinery across our full suite of industries!
• Premium machines and technology: Assemble and conduct checks on new premium range John Deere machinery, ensuring they are ready for delivery.
• Upskilling and development: Engage in opportunities to maintain and upskill your knowledge of new machinery, including developing your technical skills and servicing techniques. You'll also share your knowledge and technical skill with our keen apprentices!

You’re an enthusiastic Technician/Heavy Diesel Mechanic with strong experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of a range of equipment.

• Experience servicing a range of John Deere machinery with the ability to turn your hand to various makes, models and sized gear.
• Qualification in Diesel / Heavy Machinery Servicing.
• Previous John Deere training and certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and independently.
• A knack for problem‑solving and persistence to deliver for our customers.
• Familiarity with current farming technology.

Rates/Hours of work:

• Base hourly rates from: $35.00- $44.00, plus generous tool allowance and overtime.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week.
