Overview

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time BARISTA positions ation: TJX 300 - 300 Value Way, Marlborough, MA 01752. Online applications accepted only.

• Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items.
• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts cash and card payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following production standards.
• Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during service; cleans workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greets customers courteously and communicates relevant concerns to supervisors; serves customers quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them to customers; assists in the buying decision-making process.
• Merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly per standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior barista or Starbucks experience is preferred.
• Schedule:
  
  Full-time and part-time;
  Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm;
  Friday, 7:00 am – 1:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Location readiness for the Marlborough, MA site.

• Pay Range: $21.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.
