Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for testing, calibrating, and repairing production machines and electronic subassemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written and verbal specifications while meeting quality and efficiency standards.

The technician will support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment performance aligns with quality system requirements and organizational standards.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

  • Test, calibrate, and repair production machines and related subassemblies

  • Meet or exceed established quality and efficiency standards

  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and proper operation of completed work

  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure proper calibration

  • Perform timely and accurate testing and calibration of electronic subassemblies

  • Clearly document test and calibration results

  • Ensure all design, implementation, testing, and maintenance activities comply with quality standards

  • Perform additional duties as required to support manufacturing operations

Required Skills

  • Experience testing and calibrating electronic or production equipment

  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Understanding of quality-controlled manufacturing environments

Preferred / Additional Skills

  • Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing

  • Familiarity with electronic subassemblies and calibration processes

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Reliable, quality-focused work ethic

  • Team-oriented with a sense of accountability
