Candela Corporation is a leading global aesthetic device company with a comprehensive product portfolio and a global distribution footprint. We are the market leader in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of medical and aesthetic laser and light-based technologies. The Company’s technology enables physicians to provide advanced solutions for a broad range of medical‑aesthetic applications including hair removal, wrinkle reduction, tattoo removal, improving the skin’s appearance through the treatment of benign vascular and pigmented lesions, and the treatment of acne, leg veins, scarring and other common indications.
Candela develops products for the global aesthetic market. These products begin as concepts developed by Candela’s world‑class team of scientists and engineers or as acquired or licensed technologies that Candela then completes the development and/or commercialization of. These programs are supported by Candela’s global clinical, regulatory, and quality teams and are managed through our Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS).
The Company’s headquarters are in Marlborough, Massachusetts, US, with an additional R&D facility in Yokneam, Israel and commercial locations across Asia Pacific and Europe. Products are sold direct in 18 countries worldwide and through distributors in over 60 others and are supported by field service, clinical education, marketing development organizations and distributorship arrangements.
This position will be responsible for APAC digital marketing initiatives to increase and deepen Candela brand awareness in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for all APAC digital marketing planning, strategies, and execution as a manager.
- Execute digital marketing activities.
- Design, implement, and optimize digital campaigns in multiplatform digital platforms, e.g., email, website, and social channels, to achieve Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) and Marketing Source Opportunity (MSO) goals.
- Set, meet, and track clear KPIs for each campaign performance metric.
- Experience in funnel lead life cycle and establishing connections from front channels to back‑end CRM, Salesforce.
- In‑depth experience in the Marketo Platform or a similar email marketing automation system.
- Design and manage the Japanese website for exposure maximization with guidance from the Director of Global Digital Marketing, Website, and customize to Japan market needs.
- Identify and expand the target audience under the seven segments guideline.
- Proofread contents for clarity and proper language used.
- Ensure user‑friendly communications and mobile‑friendly email templates.
- Adopt, adapt, and improve marketing templates and incorporate the Candela brand scheme.
- Ability to think outside the box, and perform A/B testing to continue refining digital strategy with spend‑to‑budget mindset.
- Ensure prompt and accurate communication and minimize unsubscribes.
- Manage and optimize paid search, paid social, and SNS channels, including Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, LINE, etc., to meet social media platform KPIs.
- Analyse and closely track campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Report and review APAC digital marketing performance by week, month, quarter, and annually.
- Work closely with the Global Digital Team to ensure campaigns are aligned with strategies.
- Ensure digital initiatives follow industry policies and best practices.
- Compliance with SOPs, global corporate standards, and local legal and regulatory standards.
- Responsible for all digital creative designs and programs, with agencies’ support.
- Collaborate with the global digital marketing team and support other regions’ digital initiatives.
- BSc degree in Management Information Technology, Marketing, and Data Analysis, or relevant field, bachelor’s degree or above.
- Proven 5‑7 years of work experience as a Digital Senior Specialist or Digital Marketing.
- Social Media Platform/SNS experience is mandatory.
- Hands‑on experience with popular digital channels in the APAC region, especially Japan.
- Experience in HTML and website content management.
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology, e.g., Marketo, is mandatory.
- Experience with Salesforce, or CRM system.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
- Familiar with Design tools preferred.
- Excellent written communication (Japanese and English) and copywriting skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- An ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive and highly organized, with attention to detail and a proven ability to multitask.
- Strong team player.
- Excellent spoken English ability to work with global colleagues.
