Raytheon’s SWCM department is hiring a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer to support embedded software, firmware, test equipment, simulation, COTS and tools.

What You Will Do
  • Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM and tool processes and procedures.
  • Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control.
  • Status Accounting & Configuration Audits.
  • Manage digital product development/media libraries.
  • Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioning.
  • Administer SWCM tools (Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server (ADS), Git, Bit Bucket, JIRA, Confluence, Clear Case).
  • Administer/manage Dev Sec Ops  tools (Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, Git Lab CI/CD, Bamboo).
  • Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs).
  • Maintain familiarity with program schedule, budget, risks and align work to promote reuse and efficiency.
  • Coordinate data transfers, courier support among various environments.
  • Lead coordination of digital product releases and interface with functional/program leadership ensuring on‑time delivery of CM execution.
  • Follow RTX Policies and Directives under close direction of SWCM Team Lead/Section Leader.
  • Work onsite in Marlborough, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with version control, change management, and agile planning tools.
  • Experience with Software Configuration Management technology, IT, development/scripting.
  • Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance prior to start (U.S. citizenship required).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced knowledge of SCMM principles, processes, and implementation.
  • Problem‑solving, knowledge sharing, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with SWCM tools such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, Git, Bit Bucket, IBM Rational Team Concert, Clear Case, Synergy, Jenkins, Artifactory.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, YAML).
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement, CI/CD, Git Flow, Agile concepts.
  • Database/SWCM tool administration experience.
  • Proven experience with configuration management concepts and implementation.
  • Experience with CMMI.
  • Proven collaboration and effective communication across organizations.
