About the role:

The Finance Manager will play a key role within the Urology Finance organization and broader Urology Division. The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing the global urology P&L and will additionally serve as the main finance partner for both cross-functional franchise leadership teams with a high degree of influence required. The individual will also oversee planning, reporting and analytics for global selling, general and administrative (SG&A) expenses, partnering closely with functional VPs in the areas of Sales and Marketing.

This position reports to the Urology Associate Finance Director and has a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, including exposure at the Urology Management Board level, as well as interaction with other divisional and regional finance groups across the organization.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, MA at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the global planning and quarterly forecasting process for the global P&L including calendar, creation of targets across P&L line items for US/HQ and regions, consolidation and analysis and presentation to senior leadership. Support division investment prioritization process, contingency planning and allocating tasks as applicable.
  • Lead month-end and forecast P&L reviews and reporting. Support the creation of the Monthly Business Review and Quarterly Business Review packages to communicate results with executive leadership.
  • Provide financial business partnership and leadership to the Selling, Marketing, Admin, and Distribution functions, supporting senior functional leaders and acting as a thought partner on development and implementation of key initiatives and new strategies.
  • Work closely and partner with Sales Operations on the development, refinement, execution and analysis of commission plans to properly incentivize the sales force while achieving financial objectives.
  • Serve as FP&A lead on acquisition integration, ensuring efficient integration, planning, and reporting into BSC.
  • Lead automation efforts and reporting innovation in collaboration with the Finance Center of Excellence (COE).
  • Manage team consisting of one Senior Financial Analyst and one FLDP Analyst and provide coaching, support and leadership; maintain and support inclusive culture.
  • Participate in Urology Finance Leadership Team and provide leadership to the broader Urology Finance organization.
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis, financial planning, and business support
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Experience supporting business partners within a complex, highly matrixed global organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate, synthesize, and report on large volumes of financial data
  • Experience operating in a consultative finance business partner role
  • Proven experience supporting a commercial organization or function
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for business and financial audiences
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience supporting a medium to large-sized organization
  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Familiarity with Hyperion Planning and SAP
  • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience leading or contributing to continuous improvement
